Christmas event at T3

Daddy and Mummy together with Yiyi brought us for the Christmas event at Changi Airport T3 this evening. We had expected some musical performance and fake snow but to our disappointment, there wasn't any of those.

Nevertheless the big big bouncy with slide and ball pit made up for it. We had tonnes of fun bouncing around. However we didn't get the chance to go up the slide. Mummy says we'll be back on Wednesday with our CCC and we'll have the chance then. Looking forward to that ...

Happy Birthday, Mummy!!

It's Mummy's 29th birthday today and it had been an eventful day. 1st, we went to take the Singapore Flyer then lunch at Jurong Point's 鼎泰蘴 followed by the Chinese garden and The Live Turtle and Tortoise Museum.

Luckily the rain came only after we were almost done at the museum. We came back home all tired out and had a mini cake celebration for her in the evening.

2nd time on the Singapore Flyer

We are pretty much into the big round thing that we'll pass by each time we go Nainai's house. It seems like we had clear forgotten we took it last year Aug. We were told it's called the "Singapore Flyer" and we can go inside while it turns. The more Mummy tells us about it, the more excited we get everytime we see it. And Mummy happened to come across an online booking promotion for Singapore Flyer. It's 20% off normal flight tickets so here we are on Mummy's birthday!!

The Live Turtle and Tortoise Museum

We had long heard about The Live Turtle and Tortoise Museum located within the Chinese Garden. However due to it being at the other far far end, Mummy had been putting off the visit till today. It was on the way after our lunch with Yiyi at Jurong Point therefore we are finally going there.

The place is pretty interesting with many many types of turtles and tortoises, live or toys & ornaments. Terrapins and soft shells tortoises can be found roamly around freely in the compound and we can buy food for feeding. There are also some of the rare species for viewing. The entrance fees are $5 for adult and $3 for children below 6 yrs old.

After the visit to the museum, visitors can also go for a walk around the Chinese Garden.

"The garden is a functional showcase of stunning Chinese structures such as rainbow bridges, arch buildings, stone boats, tea house and pagodas."
