A day with Carol yi-yi

This is actually Mummy's day with Carol yi-yi. The day started with a visit to the supermarket for ingredients for dinner. Mummy whipped up her favourite beef stew and a 1st time dish - stir fry Lala (white shell clams) with sambal chilli.
She was glad that Carol yi-yi likes her cooking. They had spent the whole day chatting just like before and we know that Mummy's pretty happy about it. (If you had read her previous post to Carol yi-yi)
Mummy told Daddy she hopes Carol yi-yi will drop by more often and she'll be more than willing to prepare sumptous meals for her. :)

Getting lazy again


It's our 1st time at the new Gymboree premises and probably also our last Gymboree outing with Naomi. Aunty Sally had resigned from AIA and will be joining a company for a 9-5 job. Therefore she told Naomi and us that we might see lesser of each other after she starts work.
Mummy felt a tinge of sadness since Aunty Sally broke the news to her on Thurs. For the past 5 years, they had been together from shopping to playing mahjong, to soul-baring and till parenting. Mummy had never thought that Aunty Sally will leave the agency especially after she had just got her 10th year service award.
However she eventually did decide to move out of her comfort zone and go for something which the Holy Spirit had planned for her. Mummy wishes her all the best for her decision and new job. May everything turn out well and good for her. Amen.

Lanterns for us!!!

Though this isn't our 1st Mid-Autumn Festival but it'll be the 1st time we can carry our own lanterns and walk around. Mummy had registered us for the Anchorvale Lantern Festival Event on the 14th Sep at Anchorvale Garden.
Waipo says we need to get lanterns for this festival so she brought us to choose the lanterns. Mummy's kind of surprised that we actually know how to choose the lanterns ourselves. Reyden shouted "car" the moment he sets his eyes on a car lantern. And though Reyes couldn't say the word "panda", Mummy knew that it's the one when she reacted the same way she 1st saw her Kungfu Panda soft toy.

Mummy decided that I should go for a haircut when she had to flip my hair away from my face to see whether I'm asleep every night. So she and waipo took me to a hair salon that they always frequent.


Don't I look neat? But Mummy says I look silly.

Daddy bathed us today!!

Today's Aunty Aida's off day again. Mummy got Daddy "provoked" when she made a remark saying it had been donkey years since he last bathed us. Daddy took up the challenge and bathed the 2 of us both times today. He remembered the last time he bathed us was when we were less than a month old and it was still with the good old tub. Mummy praised him that he did a pretty good job of bathing us though he was abit slow. Jia you, Daddy!!
