Xmas Eve's outing

We went on a Xmas Eve playdate at Explorerkids with our Lil' friends!

Movie & Bouncy @ T3

We went on a movie date with Keira today!! Of cos it was with Mummy, Aunty Michelle and Uncle WS too. hehe.

The show was a princessy one, Rapunzel. Mummy had thought Reyden probably won't be interested but he managed to sit thru the show. And needless to say, Reyes' eyes were on the screen all the time. She says she wants to be Rapunzel and keeps long long long hair.

After the show, we headed to the T3 for the Bouncy playground.

Xmas Party

Aunty Diane was nice enough to offer her condo function room once again for our Xmas party.

Xmas Party in Carpe Diem

This is the 1st time Carpe Diem has a Xmas party. The teachers put in much efforts for it. There were face painting, balloon sculpturing, goodies bags, food, games, dance and performance by enrichment classes kids and teachers!

Hi-5 and The Nutcracker

It was 2 shows again today. Thanks to Aunty Michelle for the tickets to The Nutcracker.

We started off with Hi-5 at Marina SQ followed by dinner and rushed off to Vivocity for Part II.

Mummy lost quite abit of photos taken at The Nutcrackers due to a transmission problem. Luckily she managed to retrieve these taken with the Xmas lightings at Vivocity.

We went for 2 shows today! Barbie at Bishan & Power Rangers at Sembawang. The Barbie show wasn't quite good but part II with Power Ranger was great! Look at Reyden's excitement in the pixs and you'll know.



There were part III for the day as well. Mummy brought us to fetch Keira from her school performance and we headed to Northpoint for dinner after that.

Carpe Diem Sports Day

Reyden's post:
I had my 1st Sports Day! It was a combined event by Hougang Carpe Diem 1 & 2. The teachers had planned many relay games for all the levels and I took part in 2 items! However Meimei's down with fever. Daddy & Mummy brought her to sit aside and watch.

ECP to Parkway after the rain came

We were at East Coast Park for sandplay and picnic with our friends before the rain came pouring down. We ended up shifting the whole "gang" to Parkway Parade and had our lunch at Pasta Mania. Coincidentally there was a Meet & Greet session and games with Toy Story characters so we stayed around to watch. However they require a min. spending of $30 so no phototaking/games for us.

Mummy's Big 3 birthday!!

Mummy had a wonderful day. Daddy was on half day leave and brought her for buffet lunch at The Line at Shangri-La Hotel and we chose a mini cake for her in the evening. Though simple but she felt blessed with all the friends' well-wishes, Daddy's efforts and our warm kisses and hugs! Happiness can be so easy and simple ...

Happy birthday brunch at Lei Garden

It's Mama and Yiyi's lunar birthday today therefore we all went for a dim sum brunch at Lei Garden for a mini celebration.

Lunch and play at Alexandra Ikea

Mummy brought us to Alexandra Ikea for play and lunch after our dental visit. We could finally get into the play area, Småland at Ikea! The last time Reyes got "rejected" as she hadn't hit the 90cm mark to get in. She was utterly upset and Mummy had promised to bring her back and here we are!

We played a good one hour while Mummy and Waipo went to shop around for their stuff. Mummy thinks this is a good place for her to shop and have coffee/food in peace. We should expect to be back for more play!

White pearlies ...

We had our 2nd appointment with the School Dental Clinic today.

Reyden made a great improvement! He didn't scream as the dentist checked & cleaned his teeth. He listened well to the dentist's instructions. However he still needs Waipo to sit on the chair with him. Reyes, on the hand, had been much braver. She could sit on the chair on her own, showed the dentist how she brushes her teeth & etc ...

The dentists praised us for taking good care of our white pearlies and probably we'll only need to come back 1 year later for regular checks.

Responsible Pet Ownership Roadshow

We attended the (AVA) Responsible Pet Ownership (RPO) Roadshow 2010 today. This 2-days event is held at the Singapore Expo Hall 4B. Sad to say, it's our 1st doggie event since birth. Mummy said there should be more cos Reyes wasn't afraid of the dogs running around at the event today. We probably will explore the dog run with Kiki next.

Mummy prepared beehoon, chicken wings & ribena for a picnic. We brought along our bicycles and sand toys for play. Thank God for the nice weather.

Mummy had initially planned to go for the Light Art Festival at Marina Bay. We arranged to meet Yipo and family at Marina Square for dinner and walked over. However the distance was quite far to walk. We ended up walking over to Marina Bay Sands instead.

We had our 1st try at prawning at Bishan Park Haibin!! Mummy was much more excited than us though.

Reyes' new milestone

She could tie her own hair!! Mummy & Waipo were pretty surprised to see her tying her own hair for the 1st time as no one had taught her how to do it.

Double Twins' Birthday Party!!

We had a great birthday party at Leisure Park JWT Kids Singapore today. It's the combined 4th birthday party of Danial, Yazmin, Aden & Adel! There were structured play, flying fox, dancing, bubbles play & etc ... We must say this is one of the best party we had attended. Thank you to the hosts for having us around.

We had a swimming cum BBQ session at a Hillview condo this evening. However there wasn't any pixs of the food cos we were all too busy with the eating.

Mummy got a cake to celebrate for the October mummies (daddy) as well.

We are hooked onto picnics!! However we found a more windy place this time - Marina Barrage! We even brought along our kite to try but couldn't get it up. Mummy says she will get a nicer and better kite to try next time.

Sunny day, off to Botanic Garden for picnic! Not a "home prepared" picnic though. We got food from Adam Food Market. Satay, stingray, roti john, chicken rice, nasi lemak & etc ...

Nice place for picnic but no sign of wind this evening. We continued part 2 at Dempsey's Ben & Jerry for cooling ice-cream! Yummy ...

Teachers' Day outing & Happy 2nd Birthday to Sam!

It's a school holiday for most of us today and the mummies had planned for an outing. Started off with play at Polliwogs, followed by (super late) lunch at TCC at Terminal 3. We had a mini birthday celebration for the little sweetie, Samantha too. It seems like Children's Day instead of Teachers' Day.

Best Buddies Photoshoot

Getting ready for studio photoshoot

Mummy together with Aunty Elaine and Aunty Michelle had planned for a studio photoshoot for us. They were checking out photoshoot packages months back. And thanks to Mummy's friend, Uncle Wilson for getting the studio and rendering his service free of charge for us. We had a total change of 3 sets of clothes and many self-prepared props. It was lots of fun and we even managed to get a group photo together with mummies and daddies.

With a Pinch of Salt is a cafe at Tanjong Katong. The cafe is situated directly opposite the LICK little ice cream Kafe.

Stepping inside With a pinch of salt, there was this sign "It’s only a cafe, don’t take it so seriously" that greeted us. This is also the "899 cafe" in 想握你的手. The colour theme of this restaurant is baby blue with decors like a nursery and it is a children friendly place.

The menu is rather interesting with taglines that come below the names. We ordered a Fish & Chips and the Old Uncle Mac’s Favorite ($16.90). Steak, lamb chop, fish, chicken, bacon, ham, potato wedges, and a sunny side up! The Fish and Chips isn't worth mentioning but the Old Uncle Mac's a value for $$ one.

However the place isn't quite big, therefore patrons might have to call and make reservations in advance.

Playdate at our place

Our friends came over for a playdate today. We had Keira, Anthea, Andrea, EJ, EV and Leia. The adults were watching the opening for Youth Olympics while the helpers kept a watch over us.

We are back!!

Mummy just realised she hasn't been dilligent in updating our blog for the last 2-3 months. We had lots of activities going on in Jun and Jul. Eg. Gazillion bubble show, Downtown East 3D2N chalet stay cum bbq, bakzhang feast at Aunty Juliet's place and Pulai Springs! And the mummies went for KTV session too!!

For the 1001 times we went to the zoo, today is the 1st time we dared to play at the slides. Though we are still very much afraid of the big pouring can but we love the slides to bits.
