1st visit to the Pet Movers Dog Run

Reyden's:
Daddy and Mummy finally brought us to the PMDR today! No Kiki though cos it was just to check out the place after away from it for so long. Apparently it was a good thing that we didn't bring Kiki along cos -
1. Meimei was very afraid of the over-friendly dogs pouncing and licking her so she was being carried around all the time.
2. Mummy got bitten by some insects, had an allergy reaction and developed rashes.
I was probably the only one that enjoyed there. I love all the dogs, big or small. They ran over to me, licked my face and wanted to play with me! Mummy said we need to find a cleaner place for the dogs then we can bring Kiki & I there too. (minus Meimei, haha!)

Responsible Pet Ownership Roadshow

We attended the (AVA) Responsible Pet Ownership (RPO) Roadshow 2010 today. This 2-days event is held at the Singapore Expo Hall 4B. Sad to say, it's our 1st doggie event since birth. Mummy said there should be more cos Reyes wasn't afraid of the dogs running around at the event today. We probably will explore the dog run with Kiki next.

Loving your siblings ...
Daddy had always been telling us that Kiki is our brother and we are to care for, love and take good care of him. Though Reyes' kind of afraid of Kiki's "forceful" plays and barks at times but she still loves him as much. We'll always greet him "hey, bro!!" whenever we come back home. And now Reyden has learnt to give Kiki commands like "hand, hand" (shake hand), "sit down" & "up". Daddy and Mummy know that they can trust us to love animals as much as they do and they are looking forward to the day when we can hold Kiki's leash for walks, help to bath him & etc ...

A wet kiss from bro!

Hand, hand

Hey bro, don't run!!

Happy 10th Birthday to Kiki!!
Reyes' post:
Happy 10th Birthday to Kiki!! Mummy had wanted to get cake for Kiki from Compasspoint Cold Storage US Doggie Barkery but to our disappointment, it wasn't there anymore. We ended up with a water dispenser, jellies for doggies and some treats for him. Hope he likes the pressies!

The presents Reyes and Mummy went to get for Kiki - a new water dispenser, jelly for dogs and lamb treat.

Co-existence of dogs and kids
Mummy had always been a firm believer that kids and dogs can co-exist in a family and we have once again proven this point. Mummy could see that we are enjoying our childhood with Kiki. We know which are kiki's toys, how to throw them far and let kiki fetch it back to us. We know that the treats are meant for him (though it smells real nice) and we'll feed that to him. We had also learnt how to hug and kiss him gently. He had become part of our lives and he brought lots of laughters to us.
Yesterday we too displayed our "feelings" for him when Mummy brought him for a haircut. She had brought him out during our nap time and we actually went around the whole house looking for him when we woke up. Under the tables, under the beds, in the toilets, kitchen and everywhere else. Reyden even looked abit sad when he couldn't find Kiki anywhere. Then when Waigong sent him back finally, both of us were so happy to see him. Mummy's very much consoled by this cos she knew that she can trust us to grow up being animal lovers from the way we treat Kiki now.

Reyden and Kiki
Mummy's pretty glad that both of us love Kiki as much as she and Daddy does. She'll always catch us trying to hug, carry or kiss Kiki out of the blue. We won't forget about him when we are asked to share our biscuits/food with anyone too. That explains how Kiki puts on weight. Mummy's hoping for the day when we can all bring Kiki to the dog run, comes home and bath him together with us.
