Gymboree with our friends

Mummy decided that we are done with our "confinement" so she brought us to Gymboree today. She has asked Aunty Sally with Naomi, Aunty Eileen with Ezann and Aunty Sharon with Xavier, Xander and Xylia along. This is their 1st time there and we are glad that the children like the place. Hope they can join us at Jacob Ballas Children's Garden or Anchorvale Swimming complex soon.

Having fun at home

Mummy's post:

Yes, both my babies are being confined at home cos Reyes had caught the virus too. Her fever started on Sat till today and we even brought her to KKH last night.

They needed to give her ventolin puff and I had to grab hold of her. She was struggling so badly that her whole body was trembling and turned red. I ended up crying with her cos there wasn't anything I can do to ease her discomfort and I had to see her suffered. It pains me so much ...

It had been a bad 2 weeks in the family. I had fed them basically anything from paracetamol to brufen, lingyang to chuan bei and don't know what other funny concoctions but none works this time round. Reyden's still coughing with phlgem and Reyes' showing signs of cough too though fever had subsided.

Well, at least they are still enjoying themselves at home. Let's hope they can get well and we can go out for play soon.

Zor zor's house

We went to zor zor's house with wai-po, wai-gong, yiyi and mummy today. She was so pleased to see us but all the granduncles weren't in so we only stayed for awhile.

Part III: Dinner on our own

We had done a few "1st time" things today. 1st time taking the lift on our own, 1st time watching the elephant show and 1st time we finished our dinner on our own. We had little lunch at the zoo cos of the humid weather and we rejected our dinner as well. So Mummy left both of us in the kitchen with a bowl of chicken macaroni each and we actually finished and asked for refill!! Mummy was so happy though we made a little mess when we spilled the soup. This had probably made up for the naughty act this morning. She's going to search for the Japanese bowl that Aunty Sandy recommended for us to eat our own rice with.

Reyden looking at the scenery while eating.

Reyes still continuing on her own after Reyden had finished his and went to bath.

Part II: Zoo

We went to the zoo with the Mar mummies and babies (or should we say toddlers now?)again. There were Keira, Esther/Dylan, EJ, Leia, Tiffany, Tian, Bel, Domie, Josi and us!!! We had quite abit of fun, enjoyed the elephant show (though some mummies said it was boring), water play as usual and lunch at Forest Lodge was good.

However, probably cos all the mummies had prayed too hard for a sunny weather that it turned out to be a super hot day today. And plus Daddy and Mummy hadn't gotten over the saga in the morning so they weren't in any mood to take pixs. Mummy says we shall 'steal' a few pixs from the aunties for our blog.

Not much pixs taken by most mummies this time round. Mummy only managed to "steal" these pixs with us in the background.

1st time taking the lift without Daddy and Mummy

This isn't to document a milestone but a naughty act we did today. Daddy had went to drive the car over from the carpark and Mummy brought us to the lift landing to wait for him. Having realised that she had forgotten her mobile phone, Mummy asked Aunty Aida to watch us while she went back into the house to get the phone. The lift came and we ran in. Aunty thought that the lift will stay as long as no one presses the CLOSE button and who knows the lift door closed and went down with only the 2 of us in it!!

Aunty got a shock and she shouted for Mummy and Daddy who had came up in another lift. The 3 of them ran down the stairs from our place at 21st floor. Luckily a couple with a baby entered the lift at 17th floor and held onto us when we reached the 1st floor. Daddy, Mummy and Aunty were so so so so relieved when they saw us. We didn't understand what we had done and smiled at a worried Mummy. Mummy started crying and scolded us in the car. We must have made her real worried.

Anyway it was a bad start to the day cos the weather was pretty warm when we reached the zoo. Well, that's part II of the day anyway.

Lazy mummy

Mummy hadn't been updating our blog recently or rather our lives had been pretty uneventful lately that nothing much to blog about.

Well, not exactly though, at least there's Reyden's fever to talk about. So much so that Mummy is a believer that teething don't directly causes fever, she still felt that teething must have got something to do with the fever. Reyden had a fever out of nowhere that came on and off for the week and it never went above 39 degree celsius. He was playing and eating fine.

The only discomfort he displayed was his gums, kept digging at it and biting things. Mummy read somewhere that teething won't cause fever, however the things we do when our teeth cut might cause a fever. Eg., putting our dirty fingers into the mouth to dig and bite, not getting enough rest and sleep from the discomfort, not eating well cos of the painful gums & etc ...

Anyway most of our teeth had cut so Mummy is hoping that she can say "bye bye" to teething fever till our molars cut ...

Oh ya, 1 happy thing is we are going to the zoo again tomorrow!!! And this time round, it's with the Mar mummies again. Praying hard for good weather ...
