Big gal thing

Mummy's post:

I wonder if it's a trend for young gals nowadays to be in the ballet craze. More than half the gals around me are doing ballet and that includes the young lady at home. I had thought she was probably more into the princessy costume, the dreamy dance steps initially. However as she moves on in this area, I do see the "talent" in her. She has good music sense, definitely better than her brother. And she's vv flexible too. The teacher has also feedback about her potential. So as much as I'm lazy to send her for her classes and some reluctance to pay, I still let her go ahead.

The primary school we are aiming for classified ballet as a niche CCA, I certainly hope this enrichment will help her in some ways or another by then.

Picnic @ Botanic

This is Nee's 1st picnic and it didn't take long for Mummy to realise it was a mistake to bring her. The weather was pretty humid when we reached there. Nee started fussing as she was feeling warm and sticky. Not long after she started crying. Mummy and Aunty couldn't pacify her there and then. Mummy carried her and walked around for 20 mins before she finally fell asleep. At last some peace ...

Other than that, we had a good time though, with the food and company. Every family had prepared/bought a dish or two and we had frisbee, ball, bubbles for the kids.

Reyden gotten his yellow tip belt!

The boy has gotten his yellow tip belt! This is his 1st grading after being in taekwondo for almost a year. Not that he wasn't ready but cos some of the test dates had clashed with some events and anyway we had thought it'll be good not to rush him for the grading.

He did a pretty good job this time and I'm so proud of him.

Nee's medical review

These few months had been hard on me, Daddy & Mummy as I had to go thru a series of tests for my liver functions. It all started due to my prolonged jaundice of more than 10 wks+. That warrants a blood test for my liver function and it actually was out of range! That gave Mummy a big scare. Subsequently we were referred to KKH and a gastro specialist as well.

I went thru countless of blood tests, an ultrasound and urine test. The good news is all results returned negative and my ultrasound sounds nothing wrong with my liver, gut, bladder, stomach and etc ... Eventually the liver function test reading came down quite abit and Daddy/Mummy finally felt relieved. We are supposed to go back for a final check in 2 months' time though.

Mummy says I've been a brave gal as I didnt cry for the blood tests. Let's hope I clear the last check so they won't have to draw anymore blood from me.

The day Nee started solids ...

Mummy said I have not been drinking well these days so started me on rice cereal slightly earlier than planned. I was fussing quite badly for the 1st try at 11a+m as it was close to my nap time. Mummy tried a 2nd time at 4+pm. I took to it better, able to swallow quite abit. Gorgor even tried to feed me!
