New found interest

Mummy pulled us out from the art class at the RC cos Reyden apparently has no interest in a seat-down class. He was being complained of drawing/painting on the classroom wall, poured paint on the floor to do footprints, painted Reyes' arms and legs & etc ...

Mummy figured that she had better get him out of the place before the teacher turns nasty. And we happened to come across a notice for taekwondo at somewhere nearby our place. Reyden indicated interest in it and since it isn't too pricey for the fees, Mummy enrolled him in it for a try.

Anyway the instructor mentioned that usually the appropriate age to start will be around 6YO. However since Reyden can listen to instructions well (this is surprising), they can take him in for a term to try out. However he definitely wont be going for tests yet. Not at least till he's 6YO.

It had been a term since he started and so far seemed fine. (no complaint from instructor ... yet.) He learnt the moves well and would come back and show us with enthusiasm. Let's hope he'll stick it thru. Mummy likes the disciplinary part of the activity. It keeps him reined.

As for Reyes, she decided she also want out from the art class. And she wants to be like any other gals her age, to be a ballerina. So we enrolled her for ballet at Dancepointe (Sengkang). She was vv excited when she 1st put on her leotard, tutu and ballet shoes.

Mummy is happy that we both found something we enjoy. Anyway that's what childhood is all about ... having fun, enjoying and doing whatever you like.

Happy Birthday, Mummy

This is the last birthday Mummy gonna spend with just the both of us. Sounds wrong? That's cos she will have an additional Meimei for her birthday next year. We wish Mummy, Happy 31st Birthday!

Reynee's detailed scan

Yes, Reynee's our meimei's name. Reynee 黄瑞宁, nice? We contributed to the naming process too. It was after much brain-storming, shortlisting and filtering before we finally arrived at this name.

Back to the detailed scan, all is well with Reynee! Mummy was so relieved to know that. As it wasn't KKH's practice to give weight this early, therefore we do not know her estimated weight. However we do know that her HC is measuring at 17.6cm and AC at 15.4cm at 21wks. Mummy had done a search online and found the measurements to be on the average for bb at this stage.

Mummy had been pretty concerned about Meimei's size as she has the phobia of delivering prematurely. She is hoping that Meimei can gain as much weight as possible in case she gets anxious like us. hee hee ...

我们愛洗澡

This is a milestone which Mummy had never thought we'll (need) to hit so early. However due to her expanding tummy, it gets tougher for her to bathe us. Therefore we get to bathe ourselves!!

For the few few tries, an adult will be around to ensure we wash off the shampoo and shower foam properly. Apparently we had done a good job and thereafter we were left to bathe on our own. Mummy will be busy preparing our dinner while we bathe. All parties are happy as we get pretty excited with this "achievement" and Mummy doesn't have to be too tired out. But Mummy was worried we'll play too long in the shower and catch a cold so we aren't allow to bathe together anymore. We'll have to take turns from now on.

Other than this milestone, Mummy noticed we had grown up quite abit with her pregnancy. She doesn't know if she should feel happy or sad about it. She's definitely happy that we are getting more independent and sensible but at the same, she's feeling sad that she hasn't been able to give us much attention and care lately.

Let's hope she regains her energy after Meimei's arrival and gives us more attention!

Daddy is back!!

We had all missed him so much!! Especially Mummy ... It had been tiring for her to take care of us with her morning sickness. Anyway all is well now and we survived the 3 wks.

Daddy came back with a Longchamp bag for Mummy, a Chelsea soccer ball for Reyden, hairbands for Reyes and many many chocolates!!

Lantern Festival

Ye Ye, Nai Nai are shifting. Dua Pek had gotten a bigger place for all of them and renovation is on-going currently.

Mummy had brought us to Nainai's place on her own as Daddy isn't around. We went over to their new place to test out the newly fixed lightings and Ye Ye, Dua Pek and Ah Pek gotten lanterns, sparklers for us to play at the playground.
