A simple evening out

Hasn't seen much updates lately? Yes, Daddy and Mummy had been busy lately due to some work related changes & issues. (More details will be updated in Mummy's blog)

Anyway nothing much happened lately too except for some mini gatherings, Reyes was down with UTI last week and now Reyden's down with this bacterial infection which caused rashes on the face and body and swollen eyes. Therefore Daddy and Mummy took time off today to bring him to the doctor. Good thing it wasn't infectious and the swell and rashes went off quite abit after medication. We fetched Reyes back early for a simple evening out to Compasspoint for dinner and then to the games arcade! Though it was short "trip" but we enjoyed ourselves pretty much. Reyes even said "Mummy, 我今天很开心!", made Mummy felt so bad for not bringing us out often lately.

Happy 30th birthday to Daddy!!

Daddy finally hit his "Big 3" a month after we had our "Small 3" birthday. Mummy cooked seafood dinner for him and we had a mini truffle choco cake. Reyes chose a birthday card for him as well.

Impromptu playdate

Since the few families had no plans for this Good Friday evening, all decided to drop by our place for a mini playdate. Mummy cooked dinner for the kids and EJ's daddy cooked braised pork belly and got the rest of the dishes from the "zichar" downstairs. Everyone had fun, kids with the toys, adults with the food and talks.

Carpe Diem's Family Day excursion

1st 2 stops - Lee Wee Brothers (Otah) & My Genie (Soon Kueh) side by side. Then to Kwong Cheong Thye soya sauce factory. Mummy got quite abit of stuff from here - ee fu noodles, crispy flour, pre-packed red bean, chilli crab sauce & etc ...

We were sent to Choa Chu Kang Lot 1 for lunch before proceeding to our next destination.

Next stop - Farmart This place holds an interesting variety of many small farms. "It is a farmer’s showcase featuring Singapore’s only Bee Farm, conventional Koi Farm, Lotus Farm, Quail Farm, Orchid Farm, Ornamental Fish Farm, Live Lobsters, Crabs, DIY water fountains and many more."

The next stop was Kin Yan Agrotech - Singapore's largest commercial organic wheatgrass farm that produces and supplies such crops. Also found within the farm are fresh edible cactuses, aloe vera, mushrooms as well as roselle fruits. However both of us fell asleep in the bus, therefore Daddy and Mummy didn't get the chance to walk around and take pictures.

Final stop - Qian Hu. We've been here a few times and it's still the same old activity, Longkang fishing which fascinate us. Mummy got to try the fish spa for the 1st time though.
