Mar kids' gathering at our place

We had a gathering for the Mar kids at our place today. It was a huge turnout with 18 adults and 14 kids including us. Mummy says luckily Daddy wasn't around else he would have "gone into hiding". There were Seth, Sylvia, Teng, Tiff, Anthea, Keira, Leia, Kaiser, EJ and EV, Bel and Sam plus the 2 of us. It was great fun for all the kids but Mummy felt that it would have been better if she has Daddy or Waipo to help out. We apologised to the mummies and kids if we hadn't been a good host.

Yeah, we've finally moved on from milk bottles

If you all had remember Mummy's post about transisting us to drinking cups from milk bottles 1 yr ago, you would probably be puzzled by this post's title. Sad to say, that time was a failure. Reyes drank from the Dr Brown cup for 2 days and started to reject it therefore the transition plan was shelved then.

It was till recently that Mummy felt that it is a chore having to wash milk bottles and teats every night after we sleep. It made her decided she'll have to change to drinking cups, by hook or by crook. So she went to get another one of the Dr Brown cup in pink knowing that Reyes loves her stuff in pink. And Reyden nowadays like to copy whatever the sister does, didn't give any problem in drinking from his blue cup too. It had been almost a week and so far we both hadn't ask for milk bottles so Mummy considered this change a success!

We are going to take our 1st flight!!

Mummy and Daddy had booked for a trip to Genting with Waigong and Waipo in end Apr. We'll be taking a flight to KL followed by skyvan to Genting. This is going to be our 1st plane flight!! Aunty Fi will be bringing Danial and Yazmin along as well. Too bad Yiyi had to stay to take care of Giogio and Kiki. Mummy hopes we'll behave well for this trip so that we might have a chance to go Hongkong to visit Aunty Aida end of the year.

Yiyi had helped us to book for the air tickets with Tiger Airway and Airasia while Daddy had redeemed hotel rooms with his World Card at Resort Hotel. Looking forward to the trip ...

Our "House"

Daddy had borrowed Waigong's lorry to bring back our "house". It's the Little Tikes Country Cottage which Mummy simply loves for its size (able to keep both of us inside), full panel door and pretend stove and sink. Mummy had long wanted to get us a playhouse but there was space constraint at our previous home so it was held back till now.

Daddy says this is going to be the last big item Mummy can add to our toys collection. She had gotten us quite a few bulky toys after we moved in here and it should be able to keep us entertained for quite awhile.

Karaoke at Home

Mummy noticed that Reyes had started singing often recently. Reyden will also follow suit everytime Reyes starts singing. She'll wake up Mummy with her singing and she enjoys singing, clapping and dancing on her own too. Her "Happy birthday to you" goes "api ber to you, api ber to you ..." And "泥娃娃" goes "泥娃娃，泥娃娃，一个娃娃！" There are also "两只老虎",　"当我们同在一起" and some other songs which Mummy couldn't make out.

Therefore when Mummy and Daddy went sourcing for a DVD player today, the karaoke function was one of the requirement too. They managed to get one with the recommendations of the salesperson so we had our 1st karaoke session at home today!!

Despite Aunty J's "warning" about the size of the swing and slide set, Mummy still couldn't resist the temptation to get us one. Daddy had to share the space for his couch with us. Well, at least it keeps us entertained while Mummy does her cooking and housework.
