Xmas party at Aunty Eileen's house

We had a little party at Aunty Eileen's place today. A big thank you to her for letting us go over and mess up her place.

We want to say thank you to Aunty Sally, Aunty Carol and Aunty Eileen for our Xmas pressies as well. This is the 1st year that Mummy didn't prepare Xmas gifts for everyone. She was too occupied with our house hunting and childcare saga.

However all aunties, uncles and friends are not forgotten, we'll keep you all in our prayers & well-wishes for this year's Xmas & the coming new year. Anyway Mummy promised she'll make up next year and we'll go shopping for Xmas presents with her so wait for our pressies next year, k?

We've found a place!!

Yeah! We've finally found something we like after months of house hunting. Actually Mummy didn't really like the new place's location cos it isn't near the carpark or childcare centre. But Daddy loves it cos it's a 3mins walk to the foodcourt.

And the house is great for renovations cos everything has to go. No chances of being in a dilemma about what to hack or what not to hack. The other good thing is we are so near to Waipo's house that it can even be seen from our balcony.

Guess Mummy just had to give in to all these plus points & figure out a way to transport us to the carpark and childcare on rainy days. Daddy says anyway it doesn't rain everyday.

We are scheduled to move by end Mar or beginning Apr. Too bad that Aunty Aida isn't moving to the new place with us. She'll be going off on the 7th Feb 09. Mummy had promised to bring us to visit her in Hongkong next year if there's a chance. Hope the separation will be an easy one, not too much tears involved. Aunty Aida had been a great help for the last 2 yrs & we are both so close to her so it's natural that all of us will feel sad with her leaving.

Nevertheless, we wish her all the best with her new employer.

3rd, 4th & 5th day ...

Mummy's post:

I decided to lump the rest of the week in a single post cos they only went to school a day out of these 3 days. Wednesday was a disaster and I simply want to get it out of mind so no further elaboration on it.

Both were down with viral fever since Thursday morning & they surprisingly got well by Saturday morning. They knew that I'm not bringing them to the CC on Saturdays??
Anyway I'll pray hard for a better tomorrow.

2nd day ...

Mummy's post:
I did a very brave thing today. I dropped both in school and left for an important meeting. I didn't see any of them cry so not much heartache involved. However I went thru separation anxiety for the half day I didn't see them. I couldn't get my mind off them and even felt like crying whenever thoughts of them screaming and crying flashed past.

The good thing was both looked fine and happy when I picked them up after lunch. I thought I shall "reward" them for being good with a short outing at Compasspoint today.

1st day in school

Mummy's post:

Today's the 1st official day of RR attending childcare. I had been having jitters about it especially after hearing all the weepy and screaming stories from the other mummies. We reached there at about 8.15am and Reyden showed signs of rejection at the entrance. He seemed fine after seeing me going in with him. As for Reyes, I knew she'll probably be able to adapt better than the brother. She took off her shoes and off she went into the classes. I found her seated properly at a table waiting for her breakfast.

After breakfast, they were being led to their classroom and settled down. There were play gym, singing session, art & craft & some other activities. It all seem well until I sneaked out for breakfast and the crying saga started all the way till sleeping time.

Today's probably the 1st time I've seen RR cried so much in a day since their birth time. My heart aches each time I see their tears rolled down and it definitely made my mood extremely bad. I'm wondering how long I can last before they adapt to school.

Welcome Reyden & Reyes!

Early Xmas gathering at T3

We attended a Mar mummies' early Xmas gathering at T3 after the birthday party. Had wanted to catch the Mickey and Minnie Meet-and-Greet but the crowd and queue was ... goodness!!! We gave up and went off after the gift exchange. However the kids had all enjoyed running wild at the small empty area, playing at the playground and watching the water fountain. Kids are just kids, we can have fun anywhere, anytime.

Mummy didn't manage to take pics of all the kids who turned up today cos the place was too crowded and she had to catch hold of us so that Daddy won't have the chance to nag at her for neglecting us. We had Tiffany, Asher, Chloe, Leia, EJ, Evee, YT, Bryan, Clyde & Kaiser with us but we only managed to catch a few on film. Mummy will see where to get hold of more pixs of the gathering.

See, I can control this very well.

Too many kids blocking my way, I shall climb over to the other side.

Giving this a try for the 1st time

Hmmm ... how do we fix this?

Happy 1st Birthday, Shamus

We went for Aunty Serene's Shamus' 1st birthday today. It was held at a pretty nice clubhouse at her new condo. We saw quite a few of our little friends but both of us were too engaged in our balloon and dog play.
