Reyes and her new friend

This is the panda that Reyes "forced" her kisses on at Kiddy Palace. She brings it to sleep, talks to it, pats it & kisses it. New friend found?

1st MRT ride together

DAY 2

Waipo, yiyi & mummy took us to take the MRT to The Central today. This is Reyes' 1st MRT trip. Daddy would be so happy that Mummy's finally learning how to take public transport. And with us too!

Yiyi has got a dining voucher at a Japanese restaurant Sho-U at The Central. It's one of the newest Japanese restaurants in town, the thing that strikes visitors the most would probably be its unique design. The food at this contemporary japanese fine-dining establishment is nothing short of excellent too.

Dancing in the train

Salad for appetiser

Chawamushi Trio - Yummy!!

Salmon with wasabi/chilli sauce. And Waipo gave it to Reyden without trying it 1st!!!

Nice seats or nice play area?

Going back home

It was Reyes' turn to sleep in the stroller.

On the LRT again but without Daddy

Daddy had gone off to OBS (Outward Bound School - yes, at such an old age. Mummy also don't understand why they send him there now) for a week. Mummy wasn't feeling too good about it cos the last time Daddy went out to sea for days was almost a year ago. Since then, he had himself transferred to another dept so that he can come home to be with us everyday. And now he'll be gone for a week. Mummy knows that he'll miss us and wants to know what we do everyday. Therefore she's going to keep a record of our daily activities here so that Daddy can read it when he's back.

DAY 1

Aunty Fi asked Mummy to join her and Aunty Hanie on the LRT to Compasspoint. Mummy decided to try it out on her own so off we went to Compasspoint again. We were good boy and girl cos we knew that Mummy was alone to handle us.
Mummy, Aunty Fi and Aunty Hanie brought the 5 of us - Danial, Yazmin, Aqeel + us to Swensons for ice cream. What a scene! 3 adults with 5 baby chairs.
We had the apple crumble and it was great! Mummy says will bring us here again. Yeah!!
Next we went to Kiddy Palace and Reyes got hold of this Kungfu Panda and kept kissing it. Mummy had no choice but to buy it cos of all the saliva over it. Reyes had spotted this panda long time ago at NTUC but Daddy says no cos it costs $19.90 for such a small soft toy. Mummy will tell Daddy that it's out of no choice that she has to get it. Lucky thing was Reyden don't fancy soft toys. Actually Reyes had never fancy soft toys too. She'll throw all the soft toys given to her except for this particular fellow. She likes the Macdonalds advertisment with the panda, likes the panda that comes with Happy Meal & etc ... Perhaps it looks like Kiki?

See the Panda she was holding tightly?

Long lost cousins? Since both originated from China - Shih Tzu and Panda. haha!!

We had fun today!

Today's Aunty Aida's off day again and Daddy seeing that he'll be away for a week so he agreed to everything Mummy planned for the day. Hooray Daddy!!!

We met some of the Mar babies & mummies for lunch at Globetrotters at United Square. There were Seth, Yangyang, Josi, Leia, Chloe, Keira, Domie, Elisha & Javiar. Mummy thought we were too busy with food and snacks to interact with the others.

Reyden with Keira

It was getting more fun in the afternoon. We parked our car at the Jln Kayu LRT station (don't know what stop is that) and Daddy/Mummy brought us to take LRT to Compasspoint!! That was the 1st time Reyes took the LRT & she was all excited over it.

Reyes was so excited even at the station.

Getting comfy in the train.

And today was the 1st time we stepped into a library. Shhh ...
There was a small corner for little kids like us with many many board books, small tables and chairs. Reyes had like the place cos she was quietly reading the books she dug out. Reyden as usual was all over the place till he started shouting. That marked the end of our library stay. Our next destination was Mad Jack restuarant at Jln Kayu. Mummy loves their fried chicken and we love their mushroom rice. We even packed some home for our "supper".
However both of us fell asleep around 8pm even before Aunty Aida was home. We were simply too tired so Mummy had the mushroom rice for her own supper.

Swimming at Yishun Safra

Mummy took a risk by taking us for a swim though Reyden was running a fever this morning. Luckily it didn't worsen his fever and in fact the fever went off after that.
Daddy says this is a nice place so probably we'll be back again soon.
